Attack on Titan’s Night Walk Turns a Japanese Forest Into Scout Territory

From March 14 to December 13, Ningen no Mori (ニジゲンノモリ) on Awaji Island is staging a limited-run experience built around the anime that still owns a sizable chunk of the U.S. fandom. Yes, that Attack on Titann(進撃の巨人). The one that refuses to let anyone emotionally recover.

The main event happens after dark.

Attack on Titan

“Attack on Titan The Night Walk – Beyond the Wall.”

A 1.2-kilometer trail through an actual forest at night. Projection mapping slices through the trees. Sound design moves behind you. You’re not watching anymore—you’re a fresh Scout Regiment recruit, advancing with Eren and Mikasa while something enormous feels a little too close.

And then it comes. The line every fan knows.
“Dedicate your heart!”
Out here, in the dark, it doesn’t sound like cosplay. It sounds like a command.
Push forward. Make it beyond the wall. Try not to look over your shoulder.

Finish the walk and you’ll get a park-exclusive card. Not priceless. Still going straight into your bag.

Daylight softens things. Slightly.

There’s a stamp rally featuring four original character illustrations scattered across the park. Find them. Collect them. Claim a postcard. It’s wholesome—until you realize you’re speed-walking between checkpoints.

A second program, “Attack on Titan Mystery Quest,” casts you as an assistant to Hange Zoë, deep in Titan research mode. Expect puzzles. Expect lore. The start date’s still to be announced.

Limited-edition merch is coming. So is character-themed food inspired by Eren, Levi, and company. Details will roll out on the official site.

Ticket prices vary by season. Kids can’t enter alone—at least one adult has to join the mission. Plans may shift. Titans tend to do that.

If you’ve ever wondered how steady your fandom feels outside, in a real forest, when someone shouts “Dedicate your heart!” into the dark—this is your test.
