A new installation syncs with a spring-only cherry blossom event
A waterfall of poop now spills down behind a giant poop volcano—and that’s exactly the draw.
At Unko no Taki (うんこの滝), newly added to Unko Museum TOKYO and Unko Museum NAGOYA, a stream cascades from behind the venue’s signature Unko Volcano (ウンコ・ボルケーノ). The installation first appeared at Unko Museum OKINAWA and has now made its way to both cities.

It arrives just in time for the spring event Chō Mankai!! Unko Sakura 2026 (超満開!!うんこ桜2026, or “Super Full Bloom!! Poop Cherry Blossoms”), running through April 23. During the event, Unko no Taki syncs with Unko Volcano for special effects tied to the seasonal theme.
Visitors take part in the moment. A countdown begins. Energy builds. Then “unko sakura”—a playful take on Japan’s cherry blossoms—burst into full bloom. By day, it’s bright and maximal. By night, it shifts into a lit-up version, nodding to yozakura, or nighttime blossom viewing.

The event runs across Tokyo, Nagoya, and Okinawa.
Spring in Japan is famous for cherry blossoms. These ones don’t just bloom—they flush away. Yes, like poop.
