rom tropical summer nights to autumn harvest dinners, Soran no Beer Garden changes with the season
Kobe’s rooftop beer gardens are stretching well beyond summer this year. From May 29 to November 1, Sora’s Beer Garden (神戸国際会館 そらのビアガーデン) will take over the rooftop garden atop Kobe International House with unlimited food, free-flowing drinks, and two completely different seasonal moods.

The venue sits on the 11th-floor rooftop garden of Kobe International House, just steps from Sannomiya Station. Tucked into a leafy terrace in the middle of the city, guests can work through around 25 dishes and 60 drinks while catching the evening breeze.

From May 29 to August 31, the rooftop transforms into “Vacances Night,” a summer-themed setup inspired by the feeling of a seaside holiday. Seafood, grilled meat dishes, and spice-forward plates are paired with citrus and tropical-fruit drinks meant for long sunset hours and warm nights.
Four plans are available, starting with a 60-minute option at ¥3,900 and extending to a 180-minute course at ¥6,500. Every plan includes a roast chicken leg, while the longer courses add unlimited BBQ ribs and sausages.

Then comes autumn. From September 1 to November 1, the theme changes to “Beer Harvest Market,” swapping the summer resort atmosphere for a harvest-market concept built around seasonal vegetables, grilled dishes, and autumn-inspired appetizers.
The beer garden runs from 5pm to 11pm on weekdays and 4pm to 11pm on weekends and holidays. Last entry is at 9pm.
Japanese beer gardens usually disappear when summer does. This one just changes outfits.
