Fuji, fireworks and boat-style platters—BBQ with a Japanese twist
A carousel spins under neon lights on a Shinjuku rooftop—and yes, there’s BBQ.
Tabisuru Beer Garden Hello.(旅するビアガーデン Hello.) has reopened just steps from Shinjuku Station with a dramatic refresh. Built around a glittering, high-energy vision of Japan, the space shifts from a place to eat into something closer to an open-air spectacle.

Colorful lighting washes over the venue, with decorative installations and photo spots throughout. The mood changes from day to night. A carousel—first introduced in 2024—returns in a special 2026 edition, now firmly at the center of it all.
The food leans into visual impact. BBQ sets take cues from cultural icons like “Fuji,” “Hanabi” (fireworks), and “Funemori” (boat-style presentation). Everything arrives ready to grill, no prep needed.

More than 160 cocktails and sours are on offer, with beer available as an add-on. There’s also a bring-your-own option, where you pay for the seat and grill, then customize the rest.
Retractable awnings cover the seating, keeping things comfortable through sun or sudden rain. Seasonal events themed around Japanese summer are planned throughout the run.

Open from April 3 to October 31, 2026. BBQ courses start at ¥5,390 with all-you-can-drink (with last orders before the 90-minute limit). Bring-your-own plans start at ¥2,420.
Somewhere between a festival, a photo set, and a backyard grill—only this one glows after dark.
